Self-Service

Use the Library’s self-service machines & avoid the queues.

Use the self-service machines in the North Campus Library to check books out to yourself. All you need is your MTU Card and the books you want to borrow. Self-service machines are quick, easy to use and a convenient way to avoid queues, especially at busy times.

We have introduced a Self Issue Book Cabinet in the South Campus Reading Room. You will need your MTU Card to open the cabinet, and once you make a selection and take the book out of the cabinet your book will be checked out to you. Please note that books, other than those that were obtained from the cabinet, cannot be returned to the cabinet.
