Visiting other Libraries

What you need to know to get access to other higher education libraries.

Institutes of Technology /Technological Universities

When visiting other IoT or TU libraries you can use the Institutes of Technology Partner Libraries Card. This allows reader access to other IoT libraries throughout the year.

There may be some restrictions around exam times in busier libraries. Just ask at the library desk if you would like to get a card.

Universities

If you would like to visit a university library you can get a letter from the librarian requesting access. These are usually for one day, although it is sometimes possible to arrange access for longer outside of term time. Please contact the librarian if you would like to get an access request letter. Please include your Name, Student Number, Course and School Details, University Library and dates you want to visit on.

You will need to set up Eduroam here in MTU Kerry before visiting other Universities or Institutes.

Visitors from other Institutes will need to set up access at their home Institute before they can use wi-fi in IT Tralee.
