Visiting other Libraries
What you need to know to get access to other higher education libraries.
Institutes of Technology
When visiting other IoT libraries you can use the Institutes of Technology Partner Libraries Card. This allows reader access to other IoT libraries throughout the year.
There may be some restrictions around exam times in busier libraries. Just ask at the library desk if you would like to get a card.
If you would like to visit a university library you can get a letter from the librarian requesting access. These are usually for one day, although it is sometimes possible to arrange access for longer outside of term time. Please contact the librarian if you would like to get an access request letter. Please include your Name, T Number, Course and School Details, University Library and dates you want to visit on.
