Copy & Print
Find out how to use the self-service photocopying and printing services available in the Library
You can print, copy and scan to email using the printers/photocopiers on the ground and first floors of the Library. You need your MTU Student Card to use the printer/copiers.
You must have credit on your MTU Student Card account to use the photocopiers or printers.
When you send a job to print from one of the computers in the Library it is held in a paused queue until you log in with your Student card account.

- Swipe your MTU Student card to log into your account. Select Print Release. Any jobs waiting to be printed will display
- Select the job you want to print.
- Select Print at the bottom of the screen.

- Swipe your MTU Student card to log into your account.
- Tap Copy
- Put the document into the top feeder or under the lid.
- If applicable, change the settings (e.g. for double-sided copying, tap 2 > 2 Sided
- Enter the number of copies you want – the number of copies defaults to 1. If you enter an incorrect amount, press the C (clear) button and re-enter the number.
- Press the Start button
- If you have more copying to do, press the Services Home button and complete the copying.
- Press the Log In/Out button.
- Tap Logout.

- Swipe your MTU Student card to log into your account.
- Tap Email.
- Put the document in the top feeder or under the lid.
- Tap Add Me… or Network Address Book or Manual Entry…
- If you want double-sided scanning, tap 2-Sided Scanning…, tap 2-Sided, then tap OK.
- Press the Start button.
- If you want to scan more documents, press the Services Home button and complete the additional scanning.
- Press the Log In/Out button.
- Tap Logout.
