Guest User

Library support for guests looking to avail of the library’s services and resources

IT Tralee Alumni, or former students, are welcome to join the library as an Alumni Guest User. Membership is normally automatically approved unless you have unresolved fines or outstanding loan items on your record.
Anyone who wants to become a user of the library is invited to view the Guest Library Users Application for Membership procedures and to fill out a Guest Application Form.

Please indicate on the form that you are a former student and include your ITT T Card number if possible. If you are a recent student we can normally re-activate your old student account using your student T number. If it is a number of years since you were a student in the Institute then you may need to come in to have a photograph taken for the Alumni Guest User T Card. If this is necessary we will contact you and let you know. Please note that it may take up to 10 days to process your application

External Readers

The External Readers program allows non-members of the Institute to apply to access the library’s facilities and borrow books. Membership if approved, is for one year for research or educational purposes.

Please note that due to licensing/copyright restrictions external readers do not have access to our subscription databases and online resources.

Anyone who wants to become a user of the library is invited to view the Guide to guest Application and to fill out a Guest External Borrower form.  There are a variety of levels of access and a charge may be involved.
