North Campus Library is currently hosting the Science+Art Project – ‘Where Life Science Meets Art’ exhibition. This visual art exhibition is organised by the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research (CABR) in collaboration with Tralee Art Group to create original artworks inspired by cell biology research at CABR. This project is supported by MTU Arts Office CREATE Le Chéile Arts Project Fund. The exhibition will run until 29th May during library opening hours.

The Centre for Applied Bioscience Research (CABR) is a commercially focused research centre that helps businesses solve real-world challenges using science and technology. CABR is a collaboration between Munster Technological University (MTU) and Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS:MM). CABR works with companies across the Biotech, Food, Life Science and related sectors to develop viable, cost-effective processes and products from natural bio-resources.

Tralee Art Group (TAG) is a community-based group of over 50 visual artists from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. The group provides a meeting point for artists and arranges various events, exhibitions, painting and sketching workshops, and outings for members.
