There is a login issue with this database. Instead of being taken directly to the database home page on login, users are being asked to select an account. Untl this issue is resolved, please choose the Munster Technological University Kerry option to proceed to the database. The provider has been informed of the issue. |

MTU Kerry library users are currently unable to access the Scopus database. On logging in, users are being presented with the Scopus pre-view page instead of the database home/search page. The provider has been notified of the issue and we hope to have access restored soon. |

Ebook Central is currently down and the following message is displaying to users once they are logged into the resource: “Sorry, ProQuest Ebook Central is no longer available to your institution. Please contact your librarian.” The provider has been notified and is investigating the problem. We hope to have the issue resolved shortly. |

IT Services have advised they will be completing an essential firewall upgrade from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm (approximate times) this evening, Monday February 20th. During this time, there will be no access to the library’s online resources including ebooks, databases, online journals and exam papers. The self-issue kiosks will also be offline. If you need to borrow items from the library during this downtime, please bring them to the library desk where staff will check them out for you. |

Due to the ongoing impact of the cyber-attack on the MTU Cork campus IT Services are implementing some additional precautionary measures on the Kerry campus over the weekend. As a result, online services will be unavailable from 5:30 pm Friday February 10th until 9:00 am Monday February 13th. During this time, you will not be able to access the library’s online resources on or off campus, including:
You will be able to search the library catalogue and Multisearch off site, but you will but you will not be able to access ebooks or journal articles returned in your search results. All online resources should be available again on Monday morning. |

| MTU Kerry Campus Internet Connection outage | Essential Maintenance |
Due to an essential firewall upgrade which must be performed as soon as possible, there will be a loss of internet connectivity this evening to accommodate the upgrade from ~6PM until ~9PM. During this time, connecting from an onsite staff desktop PC or a wireless device using campus WiFi to any internet resources, including library resources will not be possible.
