MTU Libraries and Elsevier are pleased to announce a series of online workshops for MTU students & staff across all campuses this academic term. This webinar series begins next week.

There are several workshops that should be of interest to staff (in particular those interested in publishing in scholarly journals), Postgraduate Students and Undergraduate students.

Resources featured in these webinars include Science Direct, Scopus and Mendeley.

28th Feb, 2pm – 3.15pm   –   How to get published in a scholarly journal: Top Tips from a Publisher.

1st March, 2pm – 3pm    –     Scopus yourself and boost your academic profile – learn all about Scopus author profiles.

1st March, 10am-11.15am – How to address some of researcher’s most pressing questions with Scopus

2nd March, 10am-11am      – Introduction to Research Metrics and indicators in Scopus – using Journal-Level, Article-Level and Author-Level Metrics responsibly

3rd March, 10am-10.45am – Introduction to Science Direct – More than a full text platform

3rd March, 2.00pm-3.00pm    –   Introduction to Mendeley Reference Manager
