Due to the Red weather warning all MTU Campus buildings will be closed on Tuesday December 7th and Wednesday December 8th, this includes the North Campus Library, the Cube Reading Room and the South Campus Reading Room.

Please note that we have increasing the capacity of both the Cube and the SC Reading Room to 80% of normal capacity. Please note that you will still need to book a  study space or PC, you can book online here

The Cube in the North Campus and the Reading Room in the South Campus will be open from Saturday 27th November from 9am-4pm and then for the next three Saturdays leading up to the exams (4th, 11th and 18th December). The Library will open on Saturdays from 4th December from 10am-2pm and will also open on Saturday 11th December and  Saturday 18th December from 10am-2pm.

We would like to advise our staff and students that from next Monday 15th November we will have extended opening in the Library in the evenings (Monday-Thursday until 9pm). We have launched our new Discovery Service (Summon) which replaces our previous discovery software. Summon Discovery Service software will operate under the Multisearch function on the Library web page.
