The Library North Campus and the South Campus Reading Room will close today from 6pm and reopen on Monday 30th March.
Please read below for details of Library online services and supports that will be available during this time.
Return of books / Renewals / Fines / Borrowing Books
There is no need to return books until the Library reopens.
Most books on loan will renew automatically up to six times.
If books are overdue or become overdue while the library is closed all fines will be cancelled.
You may get overdue or fine notices which are automatically generated. PLEASE IGNORE THESE.
All outstanding fines will also be cancelled.
There will be no fines on overdue books until further notice.
If books are returned to book bins all fines will be cancelled also.
You may borrow extra books
The limit for undergraduate students has been raised to 20 items.
Online Library help available from staff during closure
The Library staff will be operating online support for you while the buildings are closed.
